The Program Coordinator (Standardized Patient -Human-Based Simulation) is responsible for the project development, coordination, and management which includes the selection, training, coordination, and evaluation of clinical actors (standardized patients) and medics who present iterative medical history data and simulated physical finding for a given disease and assess learners' skills. Duties & Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator (HBS) will recruit, select, train, and evaluate actors (standardized patients) and medics for various programs/projects.
Establish and maintain schedules for standardized patients, medics and participants studying a particular medical problem.
The Program Coordinator (HBS) will conduct observations, evaluate, and review actors’ and medics’ performance. In addition, they will also provide guidance and training as needed.
Develop and maintain project proposals and invoices. Researching any discrepancies.
The Program Coordinator (HBS) will conduct observations for all the health professions trainees; Develop workshops related to clinical skills, communication dialog with the patients and colleagues.
Develop and maintain fiscal year end and program reports as needed.
Oversee the day-to-day operational tasks by reviewing assignments to ensure the needs are being met. This also includes hiring, ongoing departmental training/development of staff to ensure all staff are following standardize required guidelines.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
