Job Title: Truck Driver I
Division: Retail Operations
Department: Collections
Reports To: Logistics Manager
SUMMARY
Drives light trucks with GVW of 10,001 to 15,000 and/or other vehicles to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties.

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must have excellent customer service skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read map coordinates and follow instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Type 3 driver’s license and a traffic abstract that meets company guidelines. Current fork lift certification is required. Must successfully pass a PUC physical, functional capacity exam, and be at least 21 years of age. Must retain Type 3 license, forklift certification card, and current PUC card on their person at all time when working.

The employee must frequently lift up to 50lbs and maneuver wheeled containers weighing up to 300 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Regular Attendance is a requirement of this position. Core work hours are between 8:30 am-7:30 pm, Monday-Sunday, to include holidays, to meet the needs of a retail operation. Travel is not required.
