We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing drawings and prints to provide accurate estimates on sheet metal fabrication, forming, and welding components.
Duties:
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation
- Analyze specifications to determine which tooling, labor, outside services, method and equipment are needed to manufacture customer designs.
- Research and evaluate vendor pricing for materials and equipment
- Calculate costs for raw material, non-stocked materials and/or purchased items
- Analyze time, labor, material and equipment to estimate cost
- Monitor costs and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures
Qualifications:
- 2 yrs Blueprint reading
- 2 yrs manufacturing experience (preferably in metal fabrication environment)
- 1 yrs prior estimating experience (preferably with sheet metal, forming, welding)
- 1 yr SolidWorks Experience
- 1 yr ERP experience (Epicor preferred)
