We are actively seeking an Electrical Estimator in the Columbus, OH area to join our award WINNING team.

Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Read construction drawings and specifications
  • Determine total costs for projects
  • Prepare bids and Proposals
  • Choose appropriate materials, verify prices, check contractors
  • Utilize effective communication skills to communicate with project managers, customers, and other associates
  • Meet with contractors, builders, owners, and engineers on the jobs to bid
  • Assist in setting up budget on contact jobs

Estimator Experience and Qualification Requirements:

  • (5 ) years estimating experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Experience with Accubid software a plus
  • Computerized/Digital takeoff
  • Basic knowledge of current means and method of electrical installations
  • (1 ) years of field experience with electrical installations a plus
  • Strong computerized estimating skills
  • Experience with conceptual estimating, low voltage systems estimating, & design/build estimating a plus
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with the NEC
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently at times
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Willing to learn and be a part of a team
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
  • Adhere to company screenings
