As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. You will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive project bids, collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and our dedicated team to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects. Your expertise will help us maintain and enhance our reputation for quality and reliability.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Identify opportunities, participate in pre-bid meetings, and conduct thorough site visits to assess project requirements and scope.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare detailed estimates for materials and labor. Utilize Accubid estimating software for precision.
• Work closely with project managers, vendors, and engineers to assemble comprehensive and competitive bids.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and standards in the construction industry to enhance bid accuracy and competitiveness.
• Maintain and update our internal cost database and estimators to reflect current market trends and prices.
• Engage in post-bid meetings and participate in contract negotiations as required.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and codes, and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office and Accubid. Familiarity with project management principles and techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize software and tools for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to develop accurate estimates.
• Solid knowledge of construction and electrical industry practices, materials, and techniques.
