Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day truck and kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
• Responsible for all hiring, firing, scheduling, shift managing, advancement, promotion or any other status change of associates within the kitchen.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular assessments to optimize stock levels
• Place, track and receive orders for kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment both at the truck and commissary kitchen.
• Train, nurture, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Collaborate with ownership to maintain, develop, and update menu items
• Enforce health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food truck, prep kitchen, and onsite storage.
• Ensure proper disposal of effluents, grease & greywater.
• Collaborate with ownership to ensure seamless overall truck operations
• Ensure on a daily basis that all products are prepared and presented in accordance with brand or company standards
• Provides the highest quality of guest service to the guests at all times, including and ensuring the proper training of all staff and supporting associates to ensure guest satisfaction and product quality
• Oversees cleanliness and all routine inspections for the food truck to ensure operation is in accordance with local and federal regulations.
• Manage and update all online menus
• Tackle both common and comprehensive issues and maintenance pertaining to the truck, kitchen equipment and storage areas.
• Catering Experience

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role
• Valid Drivers License Required
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• Texas Food Manager s Permit is required
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude and passion for the culinary arts
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
• Comfortability with backend POS management - Toast
