Position Purpose

The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the payables process for multiple clients, leading a team to ensure timely and accurate processing. They collaborate closely with accounting teams to in the financial statement close process for the clients.

What You Will Do

• Provide direct supervision of the payables team with an emphasis on process excellence, talent identification, development and retention.
• Ensure process documentation, education material, and training are kept up to date and delivered to the team.
• Maintain documentation of client-specific procedures and processes
• Ensure compliance with appropriate accounting principles and PBI processes.
• Develop a strong working relationship with client personnel.
• Respond to client requests and inquiries.
• Coordinate special projects for clients.
• Meet reporting and filing deadlines.
• Advise other PBI staff regarding the handling of non-routine transactions.
• Provide training and development to new and existing staff as needed.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations.
