Berry Material Handling - Wichita is seeking an Assistant Credit Manager to join our team. If you have a knack for financial management and customer service, we welcome you to apply for this exciting opportunity!

$22-26/hour depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate A/R for account over rides and credit holds.

• Manage collection process on assigned A/R accounts according to predetermined schedule.

• Process commercial and consumer credit applications to determine credit worthiness for new and existing accounts.

• Set up and maintain accounts in Prelude.

• Accept and process credit card and check by phone payments.

• Process credits, refunds and application of funds on accounts.

• Reconcile A/R accounts as necessary.

• Prepare daily deposits of payments on account and credit card payments received on account.

• Maintain fuel credit cards for fleet.

• Maintain accurate records of credit evaluations and customer interactions.

• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Pleasant and professional phone demeanor

• Ability to listen, comprehend and establish a rapport with customers

• Negotiating skills

• Basic mathematical and 10 Key skills

• Demonstrated familiarity with basic accounting principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Competency in multitasking.

• Ability to make decisions based on data at hand.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to pass a drug screen, criminal background and credit check.
