Genesis Health Clubs is looking for a Revenue Specialist who would love to work in a fast-paced corporate accounting office. This full-time staff accountant will be responsible for cash management and reconciliations. The Revenue Specialist will be responsible for cash and revenue related items including the cash responsibilities listed below. They are also responsible for other tasks assigned by their supervisor.
Requirements:

1. Three years accounting experience or Bachelor degree
2. Proficient Excel Skills; knowledge of lookup functions and pivot tables
3. Good verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned projects to meet deadlines
5. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers and vendors
6. Self-motivated; ability to take on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
7. Basic understanding of accounting terminology and procedure, such as debits and credits
8. Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity

Responsibilities:

1. Complete Cash, Check and Credit Card Verification on a Daily/Weekly Basis
   
   1. Download daily activity from bank
2. 1. Verify point-of-sale system deposits against bank
3. 1. Research any variances
4. 1. Daily reporting and communication with managers

2. Account Reconciliations

1. Complete assigned reconciliations
2. Complete journal entries
3. Reconcile cash positions to reconciliations
4. Review and research any missing sales and variances
5. Book any necessary entries and adjustments
