We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to be responsible for managing key retail accounts, driving sales growth, and developing strong business partnerships. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in CPG sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the retail environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth by executing strategic sales plans and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement effective account management strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new product offerings.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and presentations to partners to showcase product performance, market insights, and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to make informed business decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the CPG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the retail environment and understanding of its dynamics, including pricing, promotional strategies, and inventory management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights to drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales management tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, and experience is: $175,000-225,000 per year.
