Position: Sales Director

Company: SpanSet, Inc. (including Evan Corporation subsidiary).

Location: Sanford NC 

SpanSet, Inc. is a leading provider of innovative lifting, load securing, and fall protection solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead and manage our sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.

In addition to leading sales team performance, the Sales Director will be accountable for an individual sales performance, managing direct to end user customer accounts in target industries automotive, general industrial assembly, steel manufacturing, and food & chemical processing, among others.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and motivate a team of Sales Managers to achieve sales targets and objectives.

· Track sales initiatives and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization.

· Provide analysis on market trends, business opportunities and strategic initiatives.

· Develop and implement strategic sales plans expanding direct end user customer base in target industries.

· Prospecting, to fill the top of the sales funnel.

· Building a deep understanding of the customer through meetings and conversations.

· Provide sales training, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance.

· Collaborate with departments, including marketing and product development, to drive sales growth.

· Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.

· Represent SpanSet and Evan Corp at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

· Pursuing own sales targets in the key account area (60% per week).

· Be solution provider by balancing the need for customization with cost-effectiveness by understanding and addressing customers' unique lifting and safety needs.

· Convey the value proposition of SpanSet's products to price-sensitive customers, emphasizing safety and long-term cost savings.

· Manage relationships with direct end user clients and indirect distributor clients to optimize distribution channels ensuring SpanSet’s products are readily available to customers.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in for example business administration, mechanical engineering with business focus.

· Proven track record (> 5 years) of success in technical sales leadership roles, preferably in the industrial or safety equipment industry.

· Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

· Strong leadership and change management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively convey the value of SpanSet's products.

· Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.

· Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong partnerships with distributors and clients.

· Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, as needed.
