The Sales Representative is responsible for increasing the revenue of the Sacramento branch through business development efforts;

this includes all activities related to maintaining existing customer relationships, growing sales, and seeking opportunities for new business.

• Lead business development efforts to generate increased sales revenues for the Sacramento branch through continuous contact and follow up with existing and potential customers
• Secure new customer appointments and successfully build a sales pipeline through continuous, on-going prospecting for new customers;

achieve sales plan and goals as determined by Sales Management

• Develop an understanding of the manufacturers and products we stock and have access to, including an understanding of significant product applications
• Develop excellent professional relationships with key manufacturer representatives that service and support the brand
• Learn and understand all basic branch operations to be able to provide backup in the absence of other branch employees;

sales counter, shipping, receiving, etc.

• Develop a thorough understanding of ERP System, with a focus on understanding sales history, data, and trends
• Take part in state and local industry events and conventions as deemed necessary
• Document customer visits, opportunities, and relevant actions plans in CRM
• Up to 50% travel required for customer visits, trade shows, etc.
