PURPOSEFollowing prescribed machine shop methods and procedures, operates a variety of CNC machine tools to produce parts in a production environment as specified in blueprints and production planners.
Operate manual drill.ESSENTIAL DUTIES-Operates machine tools in a production environment to produce parts in accordance with specifications and blueprints.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED-Requires at least 6 months of on-the-job machine experience.OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES-Requires close hand / eye coordination, high manual dexterity including rapid hand and finger movements, and simultaneous use of both hands.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and follow verbal instructions in EnglishWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS -Works in a factory environment and is exposed to dirt, heat, grit, sparks, noise, fumes, and dust.
- Duties and responsibilities performed normally do require special physical requirements including standing, walking, bending over, crouching, pushing, pulling, repetitive foot control, repetitive use of hands, grasping, fine dexterity
