Lake Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is Hiring a Human Resource Manager Near Muskegon, MI

We are in search of a Full-Time Human Resource Manager to administer and manage all Human Resource functions including, but not limited to, recruitment, retention, benefits administration, leave management, personnel policy, onboarding & payroll preparation.

The Human Resource Manager is hands-on and provides full cycle HR Support with the ability to guide people operations in a thoughtful, timely, accurate and professional manner.

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Process bi-weekly timecards & prepare for payroll processing
  • Recruit and onboard qualified team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & government regulations
  • Coaches & assists employees and managers on a variety of employment matters, such as performance management, employee relations, leave of absences and worker's compensation.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Managers and staff

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • A Degree in Human Resource Management and 1 years of experience; or 3 years of experience as a Human Resource Administrator / Generalist.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Professional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work six - seven weekends per year as weekend manager.
