DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced HR Director for a growing organization based in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, you will be overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of Benefit Functions
  • Proficient in Compensation Administration
  • Strong knowledge of Compliance procedures
  • Skilled in Employee Relations
  • Familiarity with Government Contracts
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to direct a HR team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Experience in managing employee benefits and compensation, organizational development, and employee relations.
