The Heritage Community is Hiring a RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST Near Provo, UT

The Heritage Community is seeking to hire a Recruitment Specialist to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for our organization! This position will be a key partnership between Human Resources and Hiring Managers, requiring a vast knowledge of recruitment strategies to fill executive, director, managerial, professional, operational, and entry-level positions. We are seeking a candidate who has a proactive mindset to create and implement plans to fill staffing needs for a growing and thriving organization! This role requires operational efficiency to minimize variability, along with creativity for constant discovery of best recruitment practices!

Schedule:
  • Full-time, exempt.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively drive the recruiting process and manage expectations with candidates and all internal applicants.
  • Collaboratively work with and form relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments to better understand their hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Grow and foster relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up.
  • Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.
  • Create recruiting collateral in all forms for events, social networking, marketing, nurture emails, etc.
  • Review resumés and conduct pre-screening interviews with qualified candidates, working closely with Hiring Managers, knowing who they seek to hire.
  • Support efforts regarding off-site recruiting activities, including participation in job fairs.
  • Plan and execute quarterly on-site recruitment events.
  • Follow up on interview process status, update records in the internal database, and notify applicants accordingly.
  • Make job offers to selected candidates in a variety of ways, following approval protocols.
  • Assist in employee retention and development.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members in transferring information once a hire is confirmed, and all other phases in the hiring process.
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good negotiation skills and tactics.
  • Solid organizational skills and efficiency, being detail-oriented.
  • ATS knowledge to reliably source, track, and manage candidates.
  • Ability to create and implement unique sourcing strategies for a variety of positions.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to travel locally for off-site recruiting events.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources, with recruiting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
  • Experience within the residential treatment industry is highly desired.
