The Heritage Community is Hiring a REGULATION TEAM COORDINATOR | Elevate Near Provo, UT

The Heritage Community is a residential treatment program for adolescents, ages 13 – 18. Within the arch of our company is a distinct, cutting edge program for youth who are struggling with issues related to trauma and mood disorders — Elevate Academy. Students in Elevate Academy have faced adverse experiences that have negatively impacted their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We strive to engage our students to connect to their resiliency, and then empower them to take charge of a thriving future!

We currently seek to hire an Elevate Coordinator. This managerial position oversees the daily operations and program development of the Passages residential milieu. As a member of the Elevate Academy Residential Leadership Team, the incumbent will work collaboratively with the Program Director, Clinical Director, Academic Director and Program Managers to efficiently guide the Academy under their stewardship. We seek an incumbent with demonstrated expertise in effective management strategies and proven professional leadership skills.

Wage: Starting $19/Hour

Schedule:

  • Schedule C: Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am-3:30 pm

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Excellence in innovation with the ability to execute plans, knowing how to be attuned to the people and business you serve to weave culture and results.

  • Highly developed and flexible leadership styles to manage and train a diverse residential milieu.

  • Competency of the residential treatment industry, including awareness of mental health and education.

  • Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation.

  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy.

  • Effective and professional communication skills, both oral and written.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Elevate Academy Program Director in helping in guiding the overall direction, quality, integrity, and success of the residential environment.

  • Work with Program Managers and Shift Lead Managers in helping with direction, quality, integrity, and success of the Elevate homes.

  • Identify critical issues or trends, and develop strategic plans for addressing or correcting these issues in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for the hiring, scheduling, management, and training of mid-level leaders within the Regulation Team.

  • Conduct bi-annual evaluations and provide feedback to employees for continuous improvement.

  • Meet 1:1 with direct reports bi-weekly.

  • Meet with other coordinators weekly to resolve issues, share ideas and collaborate on innovative projects that could help our students heal and thrive.

  • Provide leadership and management during the assigned shift, ensuring that policies and procedures, program elements, and relationship-based treatment objectives are implemented in a consistent, quality manner.

  • Promote teamwork and trust within the team through effective leadership and role modeling.

  • Supervise and assure that the use of PPR’s are appropriate and performed according to policy.

  • Respond quickly to requests for critical intervention assistance and assist in leading these interventions to ensure all safety protocols are followed.

  • Secure the campus and personnel by patrolling the campus, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points.

  • Responsible for knowing the whereabouts of visitors on campus.

  • Overseeing searches, as needed, for the youth who have gone AWOL or return from a visit.

  • Responsible for completing proper documentation of all incidents during the shifts.

  • Communicating with Home Staff to make sure appropriate people (therapists, parents, treatment team, home staff) are aware if an Intervention Report is filled out.

  • When there is an AWOL on campus, Coordinator will start the Search Team process until relieved by Program or Shift Lead Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum six (6) months leadership / managerial experience required.

  • Leadership experience within the residential treatment industry will be given preference.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, or similar field preferred.

  • Empathy and Emotional Resilience

  • Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
