Job Overview:
Set Solutions are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Supervisor to lead the desktop support team for a client in Dallas, TX. This will be a 3 month contract to hire role, they need this person to convert at the end of the contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of desktop support services, ensuring the efficient and effective resolution of hardware and software issues. The Desktop Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining a stable and secure desktop computing environment for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:Lead and motivate a team of desktop support technicians.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Technical Support:Oversee the timely resolution of desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex desktop problems.
Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met for incident resolution.
Infrastructure Management:Manage desktop hardware and software inventory.
Coordinate desktop deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
Implement and enforce desktop security policies and procedures.
Vendor Coordination:Collaborate with vendors for procurement, support, and warranty services.
Evaluate and recommend desktop-related technologies and solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation of desktop configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Generate regular reports on desktop support metrics and key performance indicators.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
