Set Solutions are seeking an Onsite Help Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The role involves resolving technical problems, troubleshooting, and guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Additionally, the Onsite Help Desk Technician will be responsible for documenting, tracking, and monitoring incidents to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues on-site.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or in-person and provide technical support and assistance.
• Document all reported incidents and service requests, including relevant details and resolution steps.
• Collaborate with other team members to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and system optimizations.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software as needed.
• Provide basic training to end-users on the use of computer systems and software applications.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to provide user support in a professional manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in relevant IT areas (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Professional) is a plus.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
