About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our growing team. As the Director of HR, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture while supporting the strategic objectives of Pompa Program. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead HR initiatives in alignment with our mission-driven values, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and objectives. Partner closely with senior leadership to drive initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered. Proactively address employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in HR, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure competitive offerings that meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs across the organization and coordinate the delivery of relevant programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with HRIS systems (Rippling preferred).
  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience scaling a company from 500 to 2500 team members is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational success.
  • Experience maintaining a world class culture and very high eNPS.
  • Experience with employee events to bring the company together.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Compensation Range:
$130 - 150k base salary
