The role of the XLTO is to ensure lasting relationships with our client’s owners and stakeholders to facilitate business growth through the strategic alignment of technology. The XLTO enjoys the workday interacting with our System Analyst, Service Desk team, and Clients to help ensure their business objectives and technology is aligned. We have a passion for the small businesses here in Chicago, and if you have that passion as well you will fit in well with our team.
The XLTO will start the day off on a phone call with the project team, System Analyst Team, and other XLTOs. This is a tactical call to make sure everybody is aligned for the site visits and work that needs to be done for the day and touch points with the client if needed. At the office
Looking over emails or phone call from a client, the XLTO makes sure their clients are on track with technology alignment and handling escalations as needed. Planning upcoming technology meetings, booking them with the clients, creating Scopes of Work (SOW), and answering questions around SOW’s fill most of the morning. In the afternoon the XLTO wraps up printing out the technology meeting packet and heads over to the client site to run the technology meeting with the client and the System Analyst all onsite. The day ends with an email to the client and the XL team on items discussed on the technology meeting action items and next steps.

Specific Qualifications:
● 5 Years’ Experience providing SMB Technical and business guidance
● Broad knowledge of IT best practices in SMB market.
● Experience working directly with C-level executives.
● Experience establishing long-term IT strategy
● Working Experience of Microsoft Windows Servers and desktop
● Working Experience of Networking, Switching, Storage, Firewall, Virtualization

Essential Duties
● Manage a book of business; meeting regularly with clients from initial on-boarding
through quarterly and annual reviews.
● This is an activity drive role that will be measured on overall client satisfaction and
retention.
● Recommending solutions to clients that match their business goals and objectives.
● Ensure that our client’s technology is aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
● Establish an overall long-term IT strategy and vision for clients and communicate that
strategy to C-level executives.
● Take ownership of client issues and initiatives; represent client interests to internal
teams.
