Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations, manage administrative staff, and ensure the smooth running of the office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures.
- Some experience with drawing reading
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and assist with payroll processing
- Coordinate staff schedules and assist in training development programs
- Act as the point of contact for vendors, building management, and service providers
- Maintain office records, including employee records, contracts, and confidential documents
- Answer incoming calls, provide information to callers or connect them to appropriate individuals
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software (e.g., MS Office, QuickBooks)
- Proficiency in permit management.
- Skilled in payroll management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of basic HR functions such as onboarding and employee relations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic IT troubleshooting
