Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to a heavy phone volume of customer inquiries, including entering and processing orders and resolving customer issues.

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years previous customer service experience
• Background in distribution and MRO products a plus

 SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Data entry by touch and Typing 55 WPM
• Oracle knowledge preferred
• Pepperi order-entry software preferred

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Greet callers in a courteous and professional manner
• Take complete and accurate notes on all calls
• Handle all requests and inquiries in a timely fashion
• Communicate with the franchisees on account activity
• Enter and process orders and credits
• Provide product and software support
• Handle incoming phone, fax and email inquiries
• Research and resolve order-related issues (shortage, damage, price, proof of delivery, etc.)
• Support all internal departments
• Request and forward tax certificates
• Receive credit card payments
• Release held orders
• Damaged merchandise/shortages/pull error
• Price inquiries
• Check inventory
• Quote freight on Drop Shipped Order’s (Bulk Chemicals)
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Invoice/packing lists copies
• VSN, GSA orders and program information
• Bin labels
• ARS tags
• Account changes
• Franchise contact information
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to efficiently use a desktop computer equipped with standard keyboard and mouse
• Ability to communicate in English to locate, read and report information
