About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to support Model Risk Governance. This position will be expected to interact with model owners and other stakeholders during all model life cycle stages in order to ensure the effective governance of model development/use/evaluation processes. This requires a highly organized person that is able to communicate and multi-task effectively and can quickly grasp information communicated in various formats. The role requires both an analytic and risk management background.

In this role, you will:
Execute processes to ensure all models have been identified, classified, and updated in the corporate inventory of models
Support the model approval process for all models; monitoring and tracking any items that are out of compliance
Check that model monitoring is performed on a periodic basis; and evaluating whether validations and annual reviews performed by the business follow the requirements set forth in this policy
Evaluate quality and completeness of model deliverables to ensure it meets Corporate Model Governance expectations
Facilitate model stakeholders in understanding and interpreting the policy and completing all requirements in the Model Risk Management Policy and Model Lifecycle Procedures
Coordinate model stakeholders with Model Risk Partners and reviewers
Generate ongoing monthly reporting for model stakeholders, Control, and LOB leadership to keep them engaged in Model Health and emerging risks/issues
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with model risk management and oversight; ability to evaluate model risk along complexity, reliance, and materiality risk dimensions
Experience as a model developer or validator, or in a model oversight role
Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques, such as regression analysis, time series analysis, multivariate analysis, and other supervised and unsupervised learning
Experience and knowledge with quantitative modeling tools
Deep understanding of a wide spectrum of operational risk and control areas
Knowledge of regulatory laws/guidance and/or compliance experience working on high-visibility strategic initiatives and/or regulatory programs/projects
Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact and lead discussions comfortably with senior levels of management
Proven ability to produce and publish clear and concise reports
Experience creating and managing policy and procedure requirements

This position is a hybrid work model. Must be willing to work out of Charlotte, NC approximately 3 days a week
