Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in Corporate Risk who will serve as a business relationship manager for Risk teams. This role will provide consulting and support in communications, Teamworks portal management, engagement, and other key focus areas. This role is part of the Corporate Risk Communications Shared Service team within the Strategy, Planning & Governance Development and Engagement team.

This is an exciting opportunity to consult, influence, and create for senior leaders in Corporate Risk. The Lead Business Execution Consultant will have a relationship management focus and collaboratively partner with senior risk area leaders and Corporate Communications to develop, implement, and deliver on a holistic risk area communications strategy and plan, that includes writing, editing, and managing distribution channels. They will have accountabilities to manage the group Teamworks portal to keep it current with dynamic content, adherence to governance, and partnering with business groups. They will champion Corporate Risk engagement initiatives with partners to provide a consistent experience for all employees. The successful candidate should be a hands-on, self-starter and proven contributor with strong communication, project/program management, and collaboration/relationship building skills. In addition, they should have a strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online, the Wells Fargo brand, and accessible communication standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide business consultation with focus on strategy, being intellectually curious, and credibly challenge as needed.
  • Act as the communication partner for a Risk area to ensure alignment with the communications model and strategy, quality and effectiveness of communications, adherence and documentation of approvals, and the appropriate use of communication channels.
  • Advise more senior managers on communications strategy to propel business priorities and employee engagement, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Consult with the Risk area and collaborate with Corporate Communications to identify, manage, and mitigate communication risks.
  • Drive end-to-end communication campaigns and tailor communication approach across various audiences including internal team, senior leaders, internal partners, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and use Brand Steward Certification to review communications for brand, accessibility, and writing style guide compliance.
  • Manage and control the use of shared communication mailboxes and Teamworks portals (SharePoint Online).
  • Support large team meetings including invitations, materials, leader talking points, and facilitation.
  • Prioritize and manage deliverables to meet service level agreements and deadlines leveraging Jira Service Desk to track and report work types and volumes.
  • Follow portal standards, governance, and record retention policies.
  • Perform assessments through research/fact finding and review/analysis of data.
  • Apply creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Direct user groups to appropriate self-service solutions, provide training, and resolve questions.
  • Influence, guide, and lead less experienced strategy and execution staff within the group.
  • Bring disciplined and efficient process management into daily routines with ability to be adaptable and flexible.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of business execution, implementation, or strategic planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4 years of communications experience including SharePoint Online, Outlook shared mailbox administration, and Jira Service Desk. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, must be able to engage audiences and communicate with clarity and confidence.
  • Consult with all levels in the organization, credibly challenge, provide effective problem-solving, influence, be an innovative thinker, and a capable decision maker. 
  • Experienced and comfortable hosting and leading virtual video presentations/meetings.
  • Experience collaborating on, developing, and presenting senior management level communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and confidentiality with highly sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, resourcefulness, and adaptability are important.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
