WeldFit, a leading manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and maintaining accurate records.

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and financial tasks within the manufacturing company. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the finance team.

Other Duties / Expectations:

Accounts Payable:

• Match purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.

Accounts Receivable:

• Generate and send customer invoices.
• Monitor customer accounts for timely payments.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Record customer payments and prepare bank deposits.

Expense Reimbursement:

• Verify receipts and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile and process reimbursement payments.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• File and archive financial documents in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Up to 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, and or a related field is considered a plus.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel basics.
• Knowledge of some accounting principles and practices (basics).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Other requirements, duties and responsibilities to be given by the accounting department on an as needed basis.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
