Job Description

The Accounts Payable/Receivable role provides financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. He/she prepares the deposit, completes general journal entries, maintains accounting schedules, and cash receipting. This individual assist with other tasks that may come up in the accounting office.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a working knowledge of the industry, experience in accounting, strong administrative and organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Candidates must have fluent English speaking and writing skills; good time management skills; and professional dress, speech, and behavior.

Responsibilities

• Cash receipting
• Maintains schedules
• Reconciles bank account
• Posts account transactions
• Provides administrative assistance as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Accounting experience preferred
