Our sister company, Guardian Equipment, was founded 45 years ago and manufactures industrial safety equipment. We have been family-owned for three generations and are the largest players in our two industries, selling products all over the world. We love Chicago and have always been here. We have two state-of-the-art facilities totaling 200,000 square feet in Chicago. WaterSaver is located at Erie and Halsted Streets in River North, while Guardian is at North Branch and Division Streets on Goose Island. Both companies have gated off-street parking, are close to the Kennedy Expressway (I90) and have easy access to public transportation.

Role and Responsibilities

As a result of continued growth in our business WaterSaver Faucet Co. has an opening for the Customer Service Representative role. We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented professional to create a smooth line of communication between the customer and the company. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, our Customer Service Representatives support all facets of our customer interactions. The position works closely with the sales team, manufacturing team, and sales reps to ensure that we exceed our customer’s expectations for quality and service.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Field all incoming calls and emails.
• Answer questions and provide technical support.
• Generate price quotes and job bids when needed.
• Process incoming customer orders.
• Work closely with the shop floor to meet delivery requirements.
• Resolve any installation or after-sales issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidate should possess the following qualifications. 

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
• Experience in a technical sales environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of success in school and work environments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and put the customer first.
