Walker Zanger is Hiring an Outside Sales Account Executive Near Atlanta, GA

Mosaic Companies is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Account Executive that will work out of our Atlanta locations. As a key member of our Sales team, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and will interface with branch managers, high level executives and our entire sales team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Stone/Tile industry, possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and demonstrate a track record of success in outside sales. This is a challenging yet rewarding position with significant growth potential for individuals passionate about the Stone/Tile industry.

  • You will be responsible for meeting sales goals and objectives assigned to you by the Regional Sales Manager or Branch Manager
  • Identify and target prospective clients in the Stone/Tile industry, including architects, designers, contractors, and builders, to establish new business relationships.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in order to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through various methods such as cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to present product offerings, showcase samples, and discuss their specific project requirements.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, including recommending suitable stone or tile products, addressing technical inquiries, and offering pricing and delivery information. Notifies Regional Sales Manager, Branch Manager and/or executive management immediately of complaints received regardless of urgency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as design. May provide expertise to Sales Assistants, Account Executives and Senior Account Executives, as needed.
  • and production, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly follow up with existing clients to maintain relationships, address any concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, product knowledge, and advancements in stone or tile technology to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators set by the company. Meets with Regional Sales Manager or Branch Manager on a weekly basis to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets and business base. Prepares reports of activities and assigned accounts for the Regional Sales Manager or Branch Manager on a weekly basis, or as requested.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the Stone/Tile industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of stone or tile products, materials, installation processes, and industry standards.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective sales presentations and negotiate contracts.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to client sites and industry events.

Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates in an outside sales capacity, requiring extensive travel to client locations, construction sites, and industry events. The role may involve physical activity such as lifting and carrying sample materials. Flexibility in working hours is necessary to accommodate client meetings and deadlines.
