• Collaborate with nursing leadership to manage each correctional facility pharmacy coordinator or equivalent position
• Develop and implement nursing-led pharmacy operations
• Procurement strategies
• Distribution
• Inventory management
• Develop and maintain
• Policies and procedures
• Standard operating procedures
• Protocols
• Guidelines
• Provider and staff education
• Co-Chair of the Governance, Pharmacy and Therapeutics (GPT) Committee
• Internal Quality Improvement Program (IQIP)
• Leadership and mentor for pharmacy and patient safety program
• Formulary management
• Review and complete provider non-formulary requests
• Perpetual review of formulary additions and removals
• Drug cost analysis
• Create and maintain third party vendor partnerships for current and future programs
• Community re-entry medication bridging program
• Medication reconciliation solution
• Clinical References and Drug Information solutions
• Ensure compliance is maintained and documented
• Completion of quarterly pharmacy inspections
• Update and maintain financial reports consistent with any contract-related changes
