The Director of Pharmacy (DOP) is a unique role that oversees pharmacy operations, compliance, and medication related services for multiple correctional facilities. This position requires autonomy, ability to identify problems, and create solutions.This individual works closely with nursing leadership from each facility to maintain daily operations and implement process improvements. The DOP directly reports to the FirstClass Healthcare (FCH) Vice President of Clinical Operations, however there is collaboration across all levels of leadership given the vast scope of FCH’s pharmacy operations.
The Director of Pharmacy is a hybrid position with work locations including in-facility requirements, corporate office, and remote work. In-facility requirements are top priority and dependent on the needs of each individual facility.
The position requires the ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds. There are varying amounts of standing & walking, sitting, and frequent close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing, etc.). Physical demands may vary depending on the facility.
