So, don't just make a career move...make a difference! The Department of Health and Human Services Senior Executive Service - Leaders who touch lives. As Director, Digital Services Offices, you will: report directly to CDC's Chief Information Officer (CIO) with responsibility to provide cutting-edge digital services to CDC, including but not limited to, product and platform management, agile application development, robust enterprise cloud services, advanced data analytics, and visualization capabilities; establish a vision, strategy, and operational plan that will drive the ongoing modernization of IT and digital services that support CDC staff and partners to achieve the public health mission; maintain and enhance a robust, secure, and reliable network infrastructure to meet the technology needs of CDC now and in the future supporting public health data and IT modernization efforts; manage the planning, direction, and execution of a $100 million dollar budget through people and contracts that optimize delivery and increase the collective responsiveness of digital services at enterprise scale; provide recommendations for future directions to the CIO or Deputy CIO on relevant industry trends and federal guidance and offer solutions that emphasize customer-centered, outcomes-focused digital services; direct the processes to create an organization focused on continuous improvement to incorporate user feedback, best practices within the industry, changing agency needs, and emerging technologies in the marketplace; manage the CDC-wide IT infrastructure continuity of operations and disaster recovery capabilities ensuring integrity, availability, security, and recoverability of critical data and systems.

This is a remote position. If selected, you will be required to sign a Workplace Flexibilities Agreement. Salary for SES positions varies depending on qualifications. The annual salary range is at the beginning of this announcement. This position might be eligible for performance bonuses and performance-based pay adjustments.
