This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager in all aspects of financial reporting, maintaining records, processing, updating and reconciling various financial documents by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Updates and reconciles various financial spreadsheets on a monthly basis.
-Prepares weekly financial highlight reports for distribution to supervisors.
Monitors bank accounts daily, ensures deposits and bank transactions are reconciled to the general ledger.
-Conducts a monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts/notes.
-Monitors Lines of Credit and processing of transactions with financial institutions.
-Prepares daily bank deposits, enters cash receipts. Processes credit card payments as needed.
-Processes invoicing of customer's sales orders and close out jobs.
-Prepares monthly statements for customers.
-Maintains Accounts Receivable - collections, documentation of customer accounts/notes.
-Create Sales Orders in Sage.
-Assists with month end journal entries, prepares payroll accrual, enters payroll entry.=
-Assists with year end inventory physical inventory count.
-Assists in preparation of annual budget and quarterly budget reforecast.
-Prepares Sales Tax remittance.
-Assists Accounts Payable and Payroll on back up basis.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
-Operates office equipment.
-Maintains financial files.
