Valley Behavioral Health in Phoenix, AZ is currently seeking a Director of Plant Operations to join our team!
The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for managing and organizing the operations of the facility including housekeeping, dietary services, maintenance, security and grounds keeping while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government and regulatory agencies. This position also serves as the facility's Safety Officer and serves on the Environment of Care and Emergency Management Sub-Committee .
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee, plan, organize and direct the day-to-day operations of all Plant Operations personnel.
- Maintain and upkeep the building grounds and all its equipment (fixed and mobile).
- Serve as the Chairman of the Environment of Care (EOC) Committee and assume the role as the. facility safety officer while developing, implementing, and directing the facility's safety and emergency management programs:
- Ensure the facility meets necessary standards set forth by TJC, federal, state and local laws
concerning the operation of the facility. - Primary point person to Assistant Administrator/CMO for building renovations, recommendations and implementation in support of annual Strategic Growth Objectives

Education: Degree in facility management or related field preferred; or equivalent in trade school, degree and related experience preferred.
Experience: A minimum of six (6) years related experience with at least one year of management
experience. Must have experience with reading blueprints and understand Life Safety Code, The Joint Commission standards and OSHA Regulations.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license
