A health services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Women's Health Physician (GYN) to join their growing team at one of their facilities in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (Saturday rotations)
• Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
• Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) / Community Health
• Patient Volume: 12 to 18 per day

Responsibilities: The Women's Health Physician (GYN) will be responsible for:

• Conducting regular gynecological examinations to screen for and prevent diseases
• Providing prenatal care to pregnant women, monitoring the health of both the mother and the developing fetus, and assisting with the delivery of babies
• Offering contraceptive counseling and providing various birth control options to women based on their preferences and health considerations
• Diagnosing and treating conditions related to the menstrual cycle, hormonal imbalances, and other reproductive system disorders
• Managing and treating disorders of the reproductive system
• Addressing issues related to sexual health
• Performing gynecological surgeries when necessary
• Helping women manage the physical and hormonal changes associated with menopause

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible / Certified
