Workforce Scheduling Flex Job Summary This position provides critical support for the quality, validity and integrity of confidential data to use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives. The Data Analyst retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, medical, operations, financial, sales, customer and/or economic data in order to develop competitive and business intelligence, to optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes. Incumbent identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions. Incumbent is expected to serve as a coach and mentor with advanced data analytics knowledge. Requirements EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Math, Business, Data Science/Informatics, Actuarial Science, Healthcare Management, or other related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' health-related, non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care, or healthcare technology-related organization will be considered. EXPERIENCE Minimum five (5) years' data analytics experience, which includes data extraction, data manipulation, repository building and data interpretation. OR applicable Masters in related field with minimum three (3) years’ data analytics experience. Advanced experience with rational database i.e. SAS, SQL, AQT and MS Windows based query software. Experience with Visio or other flowcharting tools preferred. Healthcare industry work experience preferred. Certifications Security Requirements This position is identified as level three (3).
