How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Job Description Summary: Provide support to the Airgas Merchant On-sites (MOS) Business Development (BD) and Commercial Management (CM) team to achieve Airgas’ growth objectives (includes support of MOS business development, merchant ASU and LCO2 project development). Support BD/CM Managers in the development of new opportunities and merchant projects from selection committee through the C-PR C stage including preparation of project economics, presentations, project analysis, scenario development, competitive analysis and executive summaries. Coordinate C-PR and RIC scheduling and document preparation for projects. Continuously identify and communicate advantages that improve projects economics to the BD Managers. Support CM work to secure MOS contract renewals. Focal point in MOS for opportunity upkeep and dashboard in Salesforce, prospecting business analysis, organization and upkeep of MOS shared folder on Google drive. Support for MOS budgeting work and analysis of customer sales and profitability. Coordinate work with Airgas Merchant Gases (AMG) Production team to drive MOS profit improvement; efficiency projects, HIL reduction, etc. Organize monthly P&L review with AMG Finance. MOS customer billing support. Monitor and analyze the trends in MOS customer industries that may impact the MOS business, evaluate potential new markets. Develop prospect lists for target MOS markets. Work with AMG Special Projects team and BD managers on the roll-out of the new MOS product offerings (VSA-i), prepare training and marketing materials, selling tools. Evaluate HPN product line competitiveness, economic breakpoint of total operating costs versus multiple APSAs, identify product development needs. Evaluate small H2 on-site market and product offering. Maintain MOS idle asset list. Work with business drivers for Airgas. Understand BD strategy and tactics to achieve growth objectives. Demonstrate an understanding of customer processes and application of Airgas’ products and services to these processes. Utilize Airgas’ different technologies with an understanding of cost advantages and disadvantages of these technologies. Work with Airgas’ supply systems and capabilities, including operations, restrictions and cost factors. Utilize a variety of internal and external software resources to gather and analyze a wide range of data. Coordinate with Airgas VP of Sales & Marketing to review electric vehicle market in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins. The scope of the job includes understanding the entire value chain and technology behind electric vehicle industry and help Airgas position themselves as the leading supplier of industrial gas. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental, or Civil Engineering. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in a technical, engineering, operations, business research & development role, working with marketing, or sales within emerging markets implementing adoption of new technologies such as electric vehicle market. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: May telecommute.
