Job Description:

With over 14,000 miles of lit fiber and eight fully owned and operated data centers US Signal offers one of the largest, fully deployed networks in the Midwest. Choose from a full suite of Cloud Hosting, Colocation, Security and Network Services. All of our infrastructure equipment is housed in private cages and monitored 24/7/365 by our advanced Technical Operations Center (TOC).

We are looking for Sales Development Representatives to join our Inside Sales team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We are seeking focused, driven professionals looking to grow their career in sales. In this role, you will be provided the guidance and training needed to become a technology sales expert. SDRs average 50 outbound calls a day to schedule key appointments in target companies.

As a member of the SDR Team and US Signal, you will join a dedicated inside team partnering with Outside Sales to create new selling opportunities in key targeted accounts. SDRs are rewarded for their success in both setting up key meetings and for the results of new closed business.

Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Target customers and deliver increased sales opportunities.
  • Cold call at least 50 targets customers per day within sales territory.
  • Generate interest from top executives in target accounts.
  • Partner with sales to create a plan to target a sales territory to consistently exceed quota.
  • Track sales activity in Salesforce and other sales automation tools
  • Create sales opportunities and schedule meetings with key executives.
  • Deliver initial sales presentations to target customers to initiate the sales process.
  • Help achieve team revenue goals and objectives (as defined by Management).
  • Produce specific (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) detailed activity reports as necessary.
  • Other projects as assigned by US Signal Management.
Required Experience:

  • Possess and demonstrate ethical business acumen.

  • High level of organization and time management skills.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

BS or BA degree in Business is preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in sales support, lead generation, or customer service, preferably IT related is desirable.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position operates in a variety of environments. The majority of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.
