University of Kansas is Hiring a Student Administrative Assistant - Student Hourly Near Lawrence, KS
Position Overview
The University of Kansas Transportation Center is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Student Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our employees that work across a diverse group of programs and projects.
**During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
Job Description
- Greets visitors, schedules appointments, and maintains calendars.
- Assists with event planning and meeting coordination.
- Provides support to KUTC Directors and Administrative team.
- Perform other standard office duties and administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours a week and commit to a consistent schedule.
- Strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
