Duties and Responsibilities
As a key member of the EdD program team, support the program director to strengthen the EdD program operations, research, and evaluation:

• Support EdD program operations (e.g., provide technology support, program review and refinement, set-up/clean-up of classes).
• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., program survey and evaluation data, conducting interviews, writing fieldnotes).
• Prepare and present program reports, research, and evaluation—within state and beyond.
• Sustain positive/healthy relations between the program’s stakeholders—students, faculty, partners, leadership, others.
• Provide general administrative support for EDEA department (e.g., helping with department-wide events).
• Locate and collect scholarly articles and other relevant reports, new articles, media, etc. 
• Other duties as assigned.

1. Full-time (minimum 6 credits) graduate student in good academic standing (3.0 GPA) in a masters or doctorate degree program;
2. Proficient with basic computer software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and web-based programs such as Google Suite, Zoom, and Canva (or similar);
3. Proficient using web-based scholarly data bases like Google Scholar;
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills;
5. Works professionally, collaboratively and independently;
6. Strong organizational skills with managing multiple projects, files, and data;
7. Strong problem-solving skills;
8. Ability to work non-regular hours including nights, weekends, and summers.

1. Familiarity with qualitative research methodologies;
2. Familiarity with program evaluation and reporting;
3. Familiarity with Native Hawaiian, Indigenous, and/or other minoritized populations and education;
4. Familiarity with APA style;
5. Experience with report writing and/or scholarly writing;
6. Minimum of a two (2) year commitment pending satisfactory evaluations.
