Duties and Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Project Coordinator, support program and research activities aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and their service providers. 
• Assist in the coordination of the CDS Behavioral Health Clinic, including managing clinic calendar, conducting intake screenings, and assisting with clinical documentation.
• Provide coordination support to the ECHO Autism program, including participant recruitment, communication with participants, and coordination of Zoom meetings. 
• Support program needs with taking meeting minutes, obtaining requested information, arranging meeting rooms, etc. 
• Under the supervision of a licensed mental health care clinician, provide clinical behavioral health and mental health support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through the BHC.
• Assist in the development of didactic components for community dissemination, including professional development for service providers and support for families with children with developmental disabilities. 
• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data related to project activities, and maintain accurate records & confidentiality.
• Perform academic research and develop and edit literature reviews to assist in program implementation and grant proposal preparation.
• Assist with maintaining and developing project websites, flyers, and brochures.
• Assist with other activities supporting project implementation (activities may be developed based on applicant's strengths).
• Other duties as assigned. 

1. Classified graduate status in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) at the University of Hawaii Manoa. 
2. Familiarity with quantitative methods and/or qualitative research methods.
3. Experience or training related to providing mental health services. 
4. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite,); experience with managing Zoom meetings.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
6. Excellent organizational skills.

1. Experience working in a postsecondary education setting.
2. Experience in research project coordination, research methodology, survey development, manuscript, and grant proposal preparation.
3. Willingness to make one-day travel trips to neighbor islands.
4. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
5. Self-directed.
