Summary of Job Duties:The Office Manager - Medical functions under the general direction of the Section Chief/administrator. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Section office, including but not limited to the following: Monitors monthly financial performance to budget with respect to the Section budget and contracts. Monitors administration staff, with regard to day-to-day function of the dual section roll, with but not limited to any dispensary actions that must be addressed as well as monitoring job performances for each section assigned. Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday purchasing and travel related functions.
Experience with EPIC.

Responsibilities:
Monitors monthly financial performance to budget with respect to the Section budget and contracts. Reviews, analyzes and reconciles faculty discretionary accounts.
Reports concerns to the administrator and makes recommendations to address and resolve the issue(s) in question.
Processes purchase requisitions and travel requests and trouble-shoots invoicing, purchasing, and reimbursement issues.
Responsible for having a working knowledge of all active contracts.
Assists with the preparation and maintenance of the department budget.
Develops and maintains budget accounts, reviews and approves budget revisions, makes financial projections for planning purposes and uses spreadsheets or database.
Responsible for reporting contract billing and other pertinent information to the Practice Director and Section Chief in a timely and appropriate manner.
Responsible for the supervision of administrative staff for duel sections.
Assesses training needs and coordinates appropriate and timely training, delegates work assignments as indicated, and provides feedback to the administrator for employees' evaluation of job performance and for disciplinary action if indicated.
Assists administrative personnel with problem-solving and answering questions and fosters employee accountability.
Delegates administrative and billing assignments to administrative staff and monitors timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Ensures staff compliance with UAMS Code of Conduct, DOP Attendance policy, ACH Look policy, and other institutional policies.
Reports instances of non-compliance and in conjunction with the administrator determines appropriate course or action.
Approves administrative employee leave requests and submits leave requests for administrative staff and faculty in timely manner.
Collects, aggregates, and reports data from multiple sources throughout the year.
Assist with preparation of promotion packets.
Responsible for the approval, monitoring and requisition of all furniture, office space and equipment for the Children at Risk section.
Promotes a safe and orderly work environment and adherence to safe work practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
