The Program Director (Director of Student Involvement) oversees initiatives of the college designed to establish opportunities for students to engage with the college and their peers, build partnerships between students, faculty, and administrators, and to create leadership development opportunities for students, The Director works closely with business-focused student organizations to identify and develop programming that supports students and guides student organizations to maximize the effectiveness of their own programming efforts. The Director collaborates closely with all levels of college leadership to align efforts across the curricular co-curricular and extracurricular domains.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop opportunities for students to engage in academic, leadership and social groups and activities that foster closer engagement with the college in support of student success

Plan, implement, and oversee programming and events that connect student to each other, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders of the college

Assist student organizations in achieving their organizational goals within university policies and procedures on order to maximize effectiveness and satisfaction

Provide leadership development opportunities to enrich the experience and increase the effectiveness of student leaders

Advise college leadership on the actives of and feedback from student organizations and other engaged students to guide policy and program development

Collaborate with departments and student service units to identify areas for meaningful student involvement and assist in implementation to ensure positive benefits for students

Oversee and supervise student involvement staff to ensure professional development . Compliance with all applicable university and college policies, and organizational effectiveness

Develop and implement polices and procedures related to student involvement

Act as the primary liaison to the Center for Student Involvement

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
