Trinity Industries Careers is Hiring an Internal Communications Manager Near Dallas, TX
Trinity Industries is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Internal Communications Manager in our Dallas, Texas headquarters office!
In this role, you will lead the Internal Communications team in developing and coordinating strategic communications for Trinity’s internal channels to help inform and promote engagement among employees. This position reports to Chief Human Resources Officer.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to Internal Communications team members based in Dallas and Monclova, Mexico
- Develop internal communication plans in alignment with Trinity’s strategy via multiple channels, including intranet, email, digital signage, employee mobile app, and printed materials
- Manage internal communications calendar and track metrics to measure effectiveness of communication strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholder groups throughout the company to effectively share communications to their intended audience
- Plan and support production of quarterly CEO and Executive Leadership Team town halls
- Develop internal relationships to proactively communicate company internal messaging and positive internal perceptions.
- Manage development of internal articles to promote, inform, and educate employees on company strategy, direction, events, and culture
- Develop and assist with internal video recording and editing, still photography, design requests, and other multi-media projects
- Partner with internal groups on planning and execution of employee engagement events and campaigns
- Provide oversight of company brand elements and standards for logos, trademarks, design guidelines, graphics
- Develop speaking points, sound-bites, and quotable language for use in internal communication products
- Collaborate with Recruiting team to ensure social media content aligns with internal messaging
- Act in the best interest of Trinity Industries with steadfast confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Three years of progressive knowledge of tactical internal communications; internal communications strategies and planning, internal communications product development across various media methods, relationship management, and project management.
- Proven writing and editing skills, design/layout skills and creative experience necessary to address targeted messages to an internal audience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (primarily InDesign, Premier Pro, Photoshop), Microsoft 365 applications, and content management systems
- Experience with video production and setup, video editing software, photography, and photo editing software
- Must be able to set priorities and meet deadlines; and must be flexible and able to adapt to a variety of situations
- Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to work with executives, employees, managers, and internal stakeholder groups to present a positive image of the organization
