Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Sr. Marketing Manager in all areas to implement the company and properties marketing strategy. This may include the development, implementation and execution of events, promotions, signage, collateral, digital media, direct mail, advertising, website, public relations, social media, and partnership marketing.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Open Marketing Projects in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing established process and procedures
• Adhere to strict milestones and deadlines including GE Creative SLAs
• At the direction of the Sr. Marketing Manager, assist with scheduling and managing PR and Social related activities including photo shoots on property and ensure proper coordination with all property departments as needed.
• Prepare and disseminate property communication pieces including IVY content and other newly introduced programs.
• Manage on-property digital displays and content as well as STRAT.com updates and content.
• Multi-task with a fast-paced high volume and wide variety of marketing projects
• Act as liaison with designated Operations teams, becoming familiar with their specific functions within the property
• Schedule the installation and removal of time-sensitive marketing materials, both traditional and digital
• Make professional suggestions to other marketing leaders to enhance property brand and communication.
• Manage the scheduling, opening and follow-through of marketing projects with Creative Marketing, Media, Interactive, the Business Center and Facilities.
• Manage the Social Marketing team in development of content, scheduling and implementation for social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) for various property operations, and interact with administrators from the respective operations teams
• Attend regularly scheduled marketing meetings, take notes, and follow up with action items.
• Input Purchase Orders into GEI systems and monitor spend against budget.
• Order/maintain office supplies for property marketing team.
• Support Special Events team in the execution of casino special events and promotions
• Works with Special Events Lead to manage storage of marketing materials inventory.
• Promote The STRAT in a positive, professional manner.
• Ensure proper use of The Strat brand in all communications.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Two or more years of proven success within a similar role involving casino and hospitality marketing
• Familiarity with production and development of advertising and marketing materials such as: Signage, Collateral, Digital Media, Social Media, Public Relations, Internet and Websit
• Possess excellent written, verbal and group presentation communication skills.
• Ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively interact with large groups of people
• Able to effectively organize materials, set priorities, and provide feedback or follow up
• Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and WORD design features
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work swing shifts and/or weekends
• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
