General Summary
We seek a Social Content Marketing Specialist to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective content marketing campaigns.
Essential Job Functions

• Email / Phone / Social Analytics
• Social content posting organization and strategies to popular social media networks (FB, IG, X, TikTok, etc)
• Monitor industry activity to alert the staff to popular trends online
• Understand the company's target market to develop promotion strategies.
• Conducts other duties as needed with guidance from the Sales & Marketing department.
• Demands strong writing skills and the ability to create compelling news pitches for social posts & media.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be proficient in caption writing & social media platforms.
• Must have knowledge of social media analytical platforms (e.g. Hootsuite/Sprout Social)
• Must have excellent verbal and written skills (including proofreading).
• Must have excellent social and communications skills.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be self-motivated and work well both supervised and unsupervised.
• Work in a team environment with passion and aptitude for creativity.
• Must meet deadlines.
• Must be comfortable using various types of technology.

Physical Requirements

• Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to use a computer for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Hearing: Must communicate with guests, vendors, and staff members.
• Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Sitting: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
