About the Role:

The San Francisco Giants are looking for a full stack front-end developer to build innovative software tools for our Baseball Systems. As part of the Baseball Operations R&D team, you will build tools that players, coaches, analysts, scouts, and front-office staff use as part of their day to day.

You must be located in the Bay Area

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because….

• Design, build, and maintain web/mobile applications, core system components, and front-end data pipelines
• Collaborate with Baseball Operations staff to gather requirements and implement new features
• Be on rotation for front-line operational support to identify and fix issues that arise

Qualifications:

• A passion for technology and curiosity for baseball analytics
• Experience in the following areas:
  • designing and working with relational databases
  • working with 3rd party REST API's and/or built them
  • building user interfaces using a JavaScript front-end framework
• Proficiency with the technologies used in our primary stack is a plus (SQL, Python, Django, React, and Git)
• Must have a Computer Science Degree
• 2-3 years of experience
