Business Development - Houston, TX
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the water and wastewater sector in the greater Houston, Texas market. The Business Development lead will work closely with the sales, marketing, and product specialist teams to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the water and wastewater sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted marketing strategies
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients
  • Negotiate and close business deals to achieve sales and gross profit targets
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales
  • Knowledge of the water and wastewater industry in Houston
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
