Position Summary

The Clinical Administrative Assistant is a key member of the Physician Practice performing secretarial and clinical duties, assisting Providers with delivery of care. Duties include utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures, scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence. In addition, exam prep, insurance prior authorizations, vitals, chart recording, chart filing, room turnover, ordering supplies and scheduling medical testing as instructed by provider.

Education/Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience: Two to Four years of relevant work experience as a Medical Secretary and/or clinical function in a medical/physician's office preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification : Medical Assistant, Medication Technician or C.N.A a plus.
