Position Information This contract is assigned to the Career Center of the Human Resources Division
- Answers telephone calls by assisting applicants and the general public regarding recruitment processing, procedures, and employment information.
- Assists with manning the Career Center's front reception area by notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Open, scans, and sorts all incoming mail
- Assists in preparation of all new employees forms, notifying all affected departmental elements, and completing all necessary new hire onboarding forms for hire.
- Sends background inquiry letters, which include character references, employments, and landlord verifications.

Contract length: July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2024, option for renewal Minimum Qualification Requirements Training and Experience:
A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school, and two years of clerical experience.
License Requirement:
None
Knowledge of:
Office practices and procedures; filing methods and systems; correct English grammar, spelling and word usage; operation and maintenance of common office machines and equipment; principles and practices of supervision.
Vacation: Employees may earn up to 21 days per year.
Sick Leave: Employees may earn up to 21 days per year.
Holidays: 13 days a year; 14 days during election years.
Training and Development: Computer, career, and personal enhancement courses are offered; curriculum designed for employee, supervisory, and management development.
